So if you weren’t aware, the host changeover for the Tonight Show on NBC happened this Monday, with Conan officially taking the reins from Jay Leno. I’ve actually been really bad about watching Conan this entire year, but have watched each episode of the new show this week and can say that he’s stayed faithful to his style. I was also glad to hear that all of the staff has moved to LA with him, with the exception of announcer Joel Godard, who retired. His replacement, Andy Richter, now has a job. Perhaps they can recapture some of the chemistry they had in the earlier days.

Anyway, on Friday’s show Ryan Seacrest was a guest; he opened his interview by talking about his beef with Simon on American Idol, but Conan followed up with this gem:

This probably isn’t cutting edge stuff, but I figure most of the people who frequent the site may not watch American Idol.
